Future Worlds Part I = Giant Tortoise



Would you ever imagine a world full of strange creature that actually it's a creature that we see in natural lives like marmot, tortoises, and catfish. Well, it means that you're seeing the future. Discovery Channel made a program called The Future Is Wild. This program was a program that make us think that the world is changing.


The picture that you see is a picture of comparing of a human, elephant, and what's that? If you think it's a dinosaur, well you got F! It's a future turtle called Toraton. It lives in 100 Million years of Bengal Swamp of India. This creature will be the largest creature walking on Earth. This giant eats plants. It's baby was the size of elephant! Sothe bab would not fight a human baby because in one small step, the human baby has just become a scrambled egg! Below's the fact chart of Toraton!

Behaviour
The largest land animal ever and no predators the healthy adult toraton can live to 120 years old. These huge reptiles weigh as much as 24 elephants.
Toratons live in family groups spending their days peacefully grazing.
Feeding:
The toraton is a cold blooded reptile living entirely on vegetation. Because of its size it needs to eat constantly and can consume about 1,300 pounds (600kg) of food a day.
Breeding:
Female toraton lay eggs. The young emerge form shells so tough the mother helps them out by cracking the shell with their beak.
Youngsters are cared for by their parents for the first 5 years of their lives.
